Sam was lovely to work with, and he and his team did a fantastic job of bag rubbing our fireplace. Excellent communication beforehand, and they took care to make sure our floors were protected, and left the room spotless at the end. He also kept in touch afterwards to answer our questions about aftercare. We couldn't ask for more from Sam and the team, and would highly recommend them.Posted on Google
Milia PurppuraMr Connor is an excellent master mason and builder. He is extremely knowledgeable, reliable, creative, and problem-solving oriented. Most importantly, he is an artisan at heart with a profound understanding of building tradition. Anyone he has recommended for us has been professional and had excellent manners and conduct. This was particularly important for us as we lived on site. Most highly recommended.Posted on Google
Laurence HeathSam performed excellent work for me on an extensive renovation of traditional 250 year old granite cottage in Newlyn. His work included repointing all the external brickwork with traditional lime methods on the front elevation and bag rubbing on the other two external walls to a very high standard. He is very knowledgable about lime and heritage / historical conservation in an industry that often knows too little about it. Many people just passing by the house say how good it looks. For any traditional lime work / historical renovations - I would highly recommendPosted on Google
Danny CoganSam and his team worked diligently and with great pride on the lime rendering of my mother in laws Georgian townhouse. The result was exactly what we hoped for, utterly authentic and as I said to him at the time the perfect icing on the cake of the refurbishment. Couldn’t recommend them enough.Posted on Google
Benjamin BartonSam and his team are great people to work with. Sam is a second generation Master Lime Mason. Not only does he work with this wonderful material but he can use modern spray application approach to minimise the risk of cracking inherent to the traditional manual application method. I have attached a few images here that speak to the quality of his work.Posted on Google
Mark PerrymanSam and his lads done a fantastic job with the pointing on the front of my house, being very passionate and very knowledgeable in what they do. Happy to fit in with my timescale and plenty of ideas and advice to give.Posted on Google
Fran Morgan (FranFal)Very pleased with the work that Sam and his wonderful team have done for us. Exterior lime ragging, remedial stonework. Solved various problems that cropped up in the process of the project.Posted on Google
Alex WadeThe main man of Cornish Lime Builders knows no fear. To see Sam zip up a ladder and perch on a rooftop is impressive in its own right. But better yet is the quality of workmanship that Sam and his team bring to a job. Completely professional, quick thinking, hard-working and always ready to help. Highly recommended.
